Leanne Burroughs

This month I have the pleasure of introducing Leanne Burroughs to you.

Leanne enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. Most recently she traveled to Norway to do research for an upcoming Viking epic. The year before, she traveled to Ireland, where she fell in love with the beautiful countryside and its Viking history. She's also traveled to England, Spain, France, and Hawaii in search of stories waiting to be told! Her absolute favorite place to visit, however, is the lovely country of Scotland. Its beauty is beyond words, and the friendliness of its people is incomparable. In Florida, she can often be found at Disney World with her grandchildren (although everyone knows they are merely an excuse for her to visit).

Our July Celtic Heart of the Month interview is with Sheryl Brennan.  Thank you so much for being with us, Sheryl. 

Hi, Nita! Thanks for having me. It's a thrill to be interviewed.
A little about me. well, let's see. It was a sunny and delightful fall weekday in October. The incessant cries of a baby girl rang out from the stark hospital room of Fort Patterson Army hospital. (laughing) Just kidding.
I am a recently divorced, mother of three girls ages 11, 10 and 6. I work full time in sales for Orr Safety in Louisville, Kentucky, and write part time, waiting to be plucked out of obscurity. (laughing) I love to laugh, joke around, and have a little fun with my friends. Can't you tell?

I can tell already this interview is going to be fun. When did you first think about writing and what prompted you to submit your first ms?
